CONGRUITY WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
An increasing number of businesses are turning to Congruity’s PEO & ASO solutions to make their business run better, grow faster and make more money. Below are some common questions about how our service models work.
A “PEO”, or Professional Employer Organization, is defined as a business entity that provides human resources outsourcing services to client companies through the use of a co-employment relationship. The Congruity PEO model involves a contractual allocation and sharing of employer responsibilities between Congruity and the client. This shared employment relationship is often referred to as “co-employment.”
The PEO company acts as the Administrative employer and the client functions as the Worksite employer. This relationship is based on a true partnership. Because of the PEO structure, a PEO company can help small- and medium-sized businesses achieve economies of scale that they may not be able to achieve on their own. Partnering with a comprehensive PEO company can help your business succeed with improved efficiency and reduced liability.
Business owners want to focus their time and energy on the “business of their business” and not on the “business of employment.” As businesses grow, most owners do not have the necessary human resource training, payroll and accounting skills, the knowledge of regulatory compliance, or the backgrounds in risk management, insurance and employee benefit programs to meet the demands of being an employer. PEOs give small-group markets access to many benefits and employment amenities they would not have otherwise.
A PEO’s economy of scale enables each client company to lower employment costs and increase the business’s bottom line. The client can maintain a simple in-house HR infrastructure or none at all by relying on the PEO. The client also can reduce hiring overhead. The professionals at the PEO can provide critical assistance with employer compliance, which helps protect the client against liability. In many cases, the client can pay a small up-front cost for a significant technology and service infrastructure or platform provided by the PEO. In addition, the PEO provides time savings by handling routine and redundant tasks for its clients. This enables the business owner to focus on the company’s core competency and grow its bottom line.
No. By shifting the burden of many of your employer responsibilities to Congruity, you’ll have more control than ever over your business.
Most employees want the same things... financial security, quality benefits, a safe working environment, etc. – things that many small and medium sized companies struggle to provide.
At Congruity, we work closely with our client companies to provide their employees with a competitive benefits package, comparable to a Fortune 500 company. Congruity can also help improve job satisfaction and productivity by providing your employees with quality human resource services like: employee manuals, grievance procedures, safety programs and improved communications.
Our average PEO client is a small to medium-sized business, with anywhere from 10 to over 100 worksite employees, though several larger businesses also use our services. Congruity is capable of serving almost any industry. Our current client list includes: technology firms, professionals, manufacturers, skilled tradesmen, franchisors, golf clubs, landscaping, property management, and many more.
In our “ASO”, or Administrative Services Organization model, Congruity provides a comprehensive approach to many of the human resources functions supported in our PEO model, but without any direct employer relationship with your employee base.
